As a business we have a number of enhanced procedures and policies in place to ensure that we can work in a safe way and continue to manage the risk that Covid-19 still poses. We want to share some of the things we’ll be doing to keep our teams and customers safe.

Helping sellers

During the lock-down period we have invested in technology and training to allow our marketing team to create interactive virtual tours of properties. We will be strengthening our standard offering to sellers to include more professional photography, promotional videos, virtual tours and and video viewings. This will ensure that sellers who choose Complete will benefit from a wider range of marketing for their home to attract the attention of active buyers and allow them to engage more meaningfully with our digital marketing and promotion of your property.

Here’s how we’ll be approaching face to face appointments:

Viewings

  • Virtual viewings will be utilised wherever possible.
  • Viewings will be completed within 15 minutes.
  • No more than two people can attend the viewing along with the owner/agent. We ask that sellers vacate the property whilst the viewing takes place.
  • Social Distancing must be observed at all times.
  • Viewers will be advised not to touch any surfaces
  • All parties should wash/sanitise their hands before and after each appointment.
  • Gloves are to be worn and face coverings can be worn if individuals choose to.
  • We will ask owners to endeavour to ensure all doors are open to minimise the need for touching anything in the property.
  • There will be no back-to-back or multiple viewings.
  • All clients will need to sign a health declaration confirming they have no coronavirus symptoms.
  • All members of our team will be completing a health declaration to ensure they do not have coronavirus symptoms.
  • Our team will be following hand sanitising procedures between appointments.
  • We will share information with via email rather than handing out literature.

Valuations

  • Virtual valuations will be utilised wherever possible.

  • Move ins to lettings properties will be facilitated via a contactless procedure.
  • Contractors only attend to essential maintenance.

Our offices

If a member of the team is working from a branch, we’re operating a closed-door policy at the moment to help keep the number of people in and out of our office to a minimum. This will help protect our team and customers from the risk still posed by Covid-19. You can still visit us by appointment, so please call in advance.

On the occasion there isn’t someone working from this office, it’s because we are very busy carrying out viewings and helping sellers. These appointments are taking longer than usual as we’re undertaking extra preparation to ensure that all visits are completed safely.
